Please join me in congratulating Dr. Michael G Fehlings, PhD, MD, FACS, FRCSC on receiving the King Charles III Coronation Medal.
“I was honoured to receive the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of my contributions to medicine, science and advancements to spinal cord injury and Neurotrauma” said Dr. Fehlings upon receiving the award.
Dr. Fehlings is a Professor of Neurosurgery and Vice Chair- Research in the Department of Surgery, and a full member of the Institute of Medical Sciences School of Graduate Studies. He is also a Scholar in the McLaughlin Centre of Molecular Medicine, a Scientist in the McEwen Centre for Regenerative Medicine, a Senior Scientist at the Krembil Research Institute, Co-Director of the University of Toronto Spine Program, Head of the Spinal Program at the Toronto Western Hospital, and Gerry and Tootsie Halbert Chair in Neural Repair and Regeneration.
