Biography

After completing his Honours Bachelor of Science and Master of Science at the University of Toronto,  Dr. Lotfi traveled to the UK to complete his medical school education at King’s College London, University of London. He then completed his vascular surgery residency at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Lotfi obtained his Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2018 and joined the Vascular Surgery Division at Southlake Regional Health Centre. He is also a consulting vascular surgeon for Markham Stouffville Hospital.

Clinical interests

Dr. Lotfi has clinical interest in the full spectrum of vascular surgery providing medical, surgical and endovascular care for carotid artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, abdominal aortic and lower extremity aneurysms, varicose veins, hemodialysis access and other conditions.

Academic interests

Dr. Lotfi has an academic interest in medical and surgical education. He is involved in teaching medical students and residents, including skills training through the University of Toronto.
