Jordyn Vernon

Dr. Jordyn Vernon is a Colorectal and General Surgeon at Mount Sinai Hospital and an Assistant Professor and Surgeon-Teacher in the Department of Surgery. She completed medical school, General Surgery Residency, and Colorectal Surgery Fellowship at the University of Toronto. She also completed a Masters degree in Health Science Education from McMaster University in 2025. Jordyn's clinical practice covers the spectrum of colorectal disease with a focus on minimally invasive approaches to colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. Her academic focus is in education and quality improvement.
