Dr. Hirpara is a double-board certified general surgeon and surgical oncologist. He completed his medical and surgical training at the University of Toronto with an additional fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology. His clinical expertise includes breast cancer, skin cancer and gastrointestinal cancers including stomach and colorectal cancer. Dr. Hirpara has also received specialized training in oncoplastic breast cancer surgery and minimally invasive stomach cancer surgery at the renowned Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research Hospital in Tokyo, Japan. His diverse training allows him to offer cutting-edge, minimally invasive surgical approaches and personalized cancer care to his patients.

Dr. Hirpara also holds a Master’s degree from the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) with a focus on improving health systems and leadership in surgery. He is also a recipient of numerous teaching and clinical excellence awards, including the prestigious Paul Greig Award for the best clinical fellow in the Division of General Surgery at the University of Toronto.
