Benjamin Fung

Dr. Benjamin Fung is a general surgeon specializing in Abdominal Wall Reconstruction and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He completed his medical school training at the University of Toronto and his general surgery residency at the University of Ottawa. He went on to complete a fellowship in Complex Hernia and Abdominal Wall Reconstruction, Minimally Invasive Surgery at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He is a board member of the Canadian Hernia Society and Committee Chair of the American Hernia Society. His clinical interests are in complex abdominal wall reconstruction, minimally invasive and robotic hernia surgery, and quality of life restoration.
