Ammara Ghumman

Dr. Ammara Ghumman is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in breast reconstruction. She graduated from the Schulich School of Medicine at Western University and completed her residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Ottawa. She completed two fellowships in Miami (hand, nerve and wrist surgery) and in Toronto at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (breast and oncologic reconstruction), as well as a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto. She is a specialist in breast reconstruction and is the current Breast Reconstruction Lead at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. Dr. Ghumman joined the plastic surgery team at Women’s College Hospital with a special interest in breast reconstruction, breast surgery, and supporting the Transition Related Surgery program.
