Dr. Shaf Keshavjee promoted to Companion of the Order of Canada

Congratulations to Dr. Shaf Keshavjee (MD, MSc, FRCSC, FACS) on being promoted to Companion of the Order of Canada in the latest round of appointments and promotions announced December 31, 2025.

Dr. Keshavjee is Professor and Vice Chair of Innovation in the Department of Surgery, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. In addition to his clinical practice in thoracic surgery at University Health Network, Dr. Keshavjee is a senior scientist at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute (TGHRI), and Director of the Latner Thoracic Research Laboratories at UHN.
