The Department of Surgery hosts Clinical Fellows Welcome Barbeque

The U of T Department of Surgery (DoS) welcomed its new fellows by hosting the 2023 “Clinical Fellows Welcome Barbeque” during the afternoon of August 3^rd at the Hart House Quadrangle.

Fellows were able to meet their colleagues in an informal setting and enjoy some food and drinks. Fellows’ partners and children were invited as well, and kids enjoyed some fun entertainment during the event.

Attendees included clinical fellows, supervisors and directors, as well as the Department of Surgery team, including the Department Chair, Dr. Carol J Swallow, and PGME team members.

Among the attendees was Dr. John Granton, the new fellowhships director at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Some DoS faculty members attended the event as well, including Drs Sean Cleary, Tony Finelli, Rob Hamilton, Wey Leong, Giuseppe Papia, Sarah Ward, and Jay Wunder.
