We are thrilled to announce the return of Dr. Joao L. Pippi Salle, a distinguished and world-renowned Pediatric Urologist and Surgeon, to the Division of Urology and the Department of Surgery. After leading the Division of Urology at the Hospital for Sick Children for many years, he was tasked with building a successful program in Qatar. It is with great pleasure that we welcome him back to our team.
Dr. Salle has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and compassionate patient care. His extensive list of publications, research track record, and innovative surgical techniques have significantly advanced the field of Urology, making a lasting impact on patients' lives around the globe.
Dr. Salle has an illustrious career spanning many decades, including leadership positions in centers all over the world. He is sought after for his exceptional technical expertise, novel thinking, and ground-breaking contributions in Pediatric Surgery, Urology, and Reconstructive Surgery. We are grateful that he returns to Toronto to share his wealth of knowledge and experience, which will undoubtedly enrich our Department, enhance our trainees’ learning, advance research, and improve patient care.
