More about the book:

This book is about the power of social media, specifically Facebook, becoming a powerful force for positive changes and connections that may have a significant global impact.

The authors describe how, with great idealism, she finally joins Facebook wanting to change the world. She soon found out that the only objective of Facebook, was to keep growing and therefore increase the monetary value.

She argues that Facebook’s leaders ignored the social and political fallout of their decisions, contributing to polarization, misinformation, and human rights abuses.

Wynn-Williams describes misogyny, double standards, and a culture of secrecy within the company.

We encourage all of you to read this book, it is an easy read and will bring a lot of interesting discussion perfect for a book club.
