Associate Professor of Surgery

Farhad Pirouzmand was promoted to Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Pirouzmand completed his residency training at the University of Toronto in 1998, before completing fellowships in skill base and reconstructive surgery, and spinal trauma and peripheral nerve surgery. In 2003 he joined our Division where his research focuses on skull base, spine, peripheral nerve, and orbital reconstructive surgery. In 2010 he received the Alan R.Hudson Faculty Teaching Award. Dr. Pirouzmand is a member of the Steering Committee of the Surgical Skills Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital and a staff neurosurgeon at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
