50th Annual Toronto Thoracic Surgery Refresher Conference

Welcome to the 50th Annual Toronto Thoracic Surgery Refresher Conference, an immersive, two-day experience designed to inform, inspire, and elevate your clinical practice.

This year’s program is especially meaningful as we proudly celebrate our 50th Anniversary—a milestone marking five decades of excellence in education, innovation, and collaboration within the thoracic surgery community. This landmark occasion not only honours our rich legacy, but also highlights the exciting future of the field, making this year’s conference truly unmissable.

We are also pleased to host a special Gala Dinner on Friday evening in celebration of this 50th Anniversary—an opportunity to come together with colleagues and friends for an evening of connection, recognition, and celebration.  The evening will feature a three-course dinner, along with bar service and tableside wine service, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  

Bringing together leading experts from across the globe, the program delivers a comprehensive update on the latest advances in thoracic surgery. From cutting-edge innovations in lung cancer management to evolving techniques in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, participants will gain practical insights that can be immediately applied in their own practice.
