Trauma Program

The UofT Trauma Program is a collaborative between St Michael’s Hospital (SMH) and Sunnybrook Health Science Centre (SHSC) to integrate trauma related activities in the areas of education, quality, and research. The Program is supported by their respective centres and the University of Toronto’s (UofT) Division of General Surgery. The integration of these two centres provides an opportunity to bring the highest quality of care to severely injured patients in South Central Ontario, a catchment area of over 8 million persons, while also enhancing the educational opportunities for learners.
