CNIS Bethune Roundtable in Global Surgery

May 25 – 27 | Women’s College Hospital
Toronto, Ontario, Canada

The Bethune Roundtable is an annual interdisciplinary meeting aimed at addressing the challenges of providing accessible, high-quality surgical care to marginalized patients in low-resource settings. By bringing health professionals across a variety of disciplines together, we are able to share strategies and create solutions for improving surgical care to these underserviced regions.

The University of Toronto is honoured to host the Bethune Roundtable in 2018 at our newly renovated Women’s College Hospital, located in downtown Toronto.

The theme for the 2018 conference is The Role of the Trainee in Global Surgery. Our keynote speakers, program, and workshops will focus the impact that medical students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty can have in the development of sustainable surgical systems in low and middle-income countries.
