Biography:

Dr. Kerry Graybiel obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from McMaster University, after which he pursued medical education at Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine. He went on to complete residency training in General Surgery, followed by a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at McMaster University. He is currently on staff at Humber River Regional Hospital, in the Division of Vascular Surgery.

Clinical Interests:

Dr. Graybiel’s clinical practice includes management of both arterial and venous disease.  He has extensive training in aneurysm repair, lower extremity revascularization, and carotid artery surgery.  His clinical interests include percutaneous endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms, and hybrid approaches to lower extremity revascularization for peripheral artery disease. His practice also comprises the multimodal management of lower extremity venous insufficiency, using techniques such as endovenous laser ablation and sclerotherapy. Dr. Graybiel works collaboratively with the Nephrology department at Humber River Hospital, providing timely creation of hemodialysis access for patients with end-stage renal disease.

Academic Interests:

Dr. Graybiel has an interest in medical education, with involvement in both undergraduate medical education and residency training.  Additionally, he is a Residency Program Committee member for the Vascular Surgery program at the University of Toronto.
